Kingsteignton with Teigngrace

St Peter & St Paul’s Teigngrace

St Peter & St Paul’s is home to a small community of Christians who either live in the village of Teigngrace or in the nearby town of Kingsteignton.  We hold a monthly Holy Communion service at 9.00am on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

The Church is a Grade II* listed building that dates from 1787, when it was dedicated after replacing an older church on the site.  The demolition of the old church and building of the new was overseen by member of the Templer family, who owned the nearby Stover Estate.

Organ

St Peter & St Paul’s has a very fine organ, installed by the Templer family, which is the 2nd oldest in the county.  Although now electrified, the original Nags Head Swell is still in place.
