St. Michael’s Church Hall can be found in Chudleigh Road (TQ12 3JU) about half a mile from the Church.
Built in 1956 and funded by Dame Violet Wills, the Hall has a car park to the front of the building and a disabled access to the side. It has also recently benefitted from a new kitchen and hall flooring, night storage heaters, and new chairs.
The Church community uses the hall during the year for quiz evenings, harvest suppers, bazaars, and Candlelight Carol Services. However, it is mainly rented out to various organisations – the main one during term time is a thriving Pre-School on a Monday to Friday basis. It is also used on a regular basis by a choir, Pilates group, stamp club, ladies dance group, Mother’s Union, Kung-Fu, and two separate bingo evenings.

During the year we get bookings for AGM’s, Maypole dancers’ practices, a German railway meeting, parties, and a Polling Station for local council elections.
