Kingsteignton with Teigngrace

St Michaels Welcome

Welcome to the Parish of Kingsteignton with Teigngrace

We are home to a welcoming Christian community whose worship and prayer is centred in the Eucharist.  We offer regular worship and gatherings for friendship across our two churches of St Michael's in Kingsteignton and St Peter and St Paul's in Teigngrace.  Many of our regular services are livestreamed on Facebook or Zoom.  We welcome you to join us in person or online.

We seek to serve our local community through our prayer & worship, through pastoral care and through life events - ChristeningsConfirmationWeddings and Funerals.

We also host a variety of events at our Church and our Church Hall, and support several group activities.

Please join us in praying for St Michael's and St Peter & St Paul's during our vacancy

Our Vacancy Prayer

Lord God, our Heavenly Father,

You have welcomed each one of us in Jesus

and have called us to be his Body

in this place.

Send us your Holy Spirit

at this time of uncertainty and change,

to fill us with vision, energy

and faithfulness in prayer,

that we may be true to our calling

to bring new life to our community.

Enable us all to use and develop our gifts,

to support each other during the vacancy

and to offer all that we can

in faith and in love.

Guide with your heavenly wisdom

those who will be involved

in choosing a new incumbent

for our parish,

that whoever we receive and welcome,

may be a wise and gentle shepherd

of your people,

ready to serve us with joy,

to build us up in faith

and to lead us by example,

in loving obedience to your Son,

our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

AMEN
